RAJSHAHI, Dec 1, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged members of the outlawed Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from a village in the district last night, RAB sources said today.
The arrested persons were identified as Muhammad Sanaullah, 66,a resident of Tikail village, Muhammad Fatik, 50, of Nizampur village and Ashraful Islam, 34, of Dogachhi village under Nachole upazila of the district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at Nizampur village under the Nachole upazila and arrested them around 11:50 pm. They were reportedly holding an anti-state secret meeting at that time.
The RAB team also seized some controversial books and leaflets from their possessions, the sources added.
