DHAKA, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka University (DU) Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CoETL) organized a two-day virtual workshop on “Curriculum Development” for the teachers of Dhaka University (DU).
The workshop was held in separate days, started on November 23 and ended on November 26, said a DU press release here today.
Treasurer of Sheikh Hasina University Dr. Subrata Kumar Aditya, Dr. Zia Rahman of DU Criminology department, Dr. Mahbub Ahsan Khan of DU Institute of Education and Research and Dr. Syed Shahrier Rahman of DU Linguistics Department attended the workshops as resource persons.
Speakers gave presentation on different topics which include ‘Faculty Guidelines and Curriculum Development’, ‘Faculty Guidelines and Curriculum Development-Faculty of Social Sciences and relevant Institutions’, ‘Hands on Training and overall aspects of Curriculum Development’ and ‘Faculty Guidelines and Curriculum Development-Faculty of Arts and relevant Institutions’.
Director of the Centre Prof. Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman delivered welcome speech in the workshop while Additional Director of CoETL Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha was present as the special guest.
It may be mentioned that DU CoETL successfully organizes a series of workshops for DU teachers and officers for achieving Quality Higher Education.
