DHAKA, Oct 28, 2020 (BSS)- Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the daily Sokalbela editor and publisher Syed Enamul Haque.
In a condolence message, the information minister said Haque was a model of honesty and devotion, making contribution to the country’s mass media.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, recalled the contribution of Haque as a news presenter at Bangladesh Betar for long three decades.
The information minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Haque, who was also secretary general of Bangladesh Sangbadpothro Parishad, died at a hospital in the capital while undergoing treatment at the age of 64.
He was suffering from kidney disease for long.
Haque left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
