DHAKA, Sept 27, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.
In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
He said “Mahbubey Alam was one of a brighter personality in the legal ground of the country. His contributions will be ever remembered in upholding the rule of law, democracy and human rights. His death is an irreparable loss for the legal arena and which would be never full-filled.”
Alam breathed his last at 7.25pm today at the age of 71 at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the city.
