DHAKA, Sept 22, 2020 (BSS) – Majeda Begum, mother of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, died of old-age complications at a hospital in Khulna last night.
She was 82, said a press release.
Majeda left behind four sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Tarabunia Eidgah ground at Najirpur Upazilla in Pirojpur district at 10am.
In a message of condolence, Secretary of the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry Rownak Mahmud expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Majeda Begum.
The secretary also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
