GOPALGANJ, Sept 19, 2020 (BSS) – Three motorcycle riders were killed as a passenger bus hit their motorbike at Muksudpur College crossing in Muksudpur upazila of the district last night.
The deceased were identified as Al-Amin Thakur, 22, hailed from Gopinathpur village, Foysal Sarder, 30, and Liakot Sheikh, 32, residents of Chondibordi village in Muksudpr upazila.
The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Khulna highway when a bus hit the motorbike, leaving its rider Foysal died on the spot and two others injured, police said.
The injured were sent to Muksudpur Upazila Health Complex where Al-Amin succumbed to his injuries. Later, Liakot Sheikh died on the way to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
Police arrested the bus driver.
