CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 21, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged illegal arms and drug peddler with two foreign-made pistols, one shooter gun, two magazines, five bullets and 1,045 yaba tablets from Rohonpur Stationpara under Gomostapur upazila in the district this morning.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Jasim Uddin, 32, of Baliadighi village under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, being informed, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the rented house of Jasim Uddin at the aforesaid area around 5.30am and arrested Jasim with the arms, ammo and yaba.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Gomostapur thana with a case.
