DHAKA, June 28, 2018 (BSS)-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her positive and encouraging comments about the capital market and said that the present government has been extending all cooperation, including policy support, legal reforms and infrastructure development for building a strong capital market.
In a statement today the DSE said the Prime Minister while speaking in parliament on June 27 said Bangladesh capital market is considered as an attractive destination for global investment.
The Prime Minister also said the government will take short-term programmes, including introduction of small cap platform, development of bond market and improvement of surveillance and monitoring, for the overall development of the capital market, said the DSE.
The DSE thanked the government for giving special attention to the capital market. It said the capital market will flourish further because of the government’s positive and timely measures.
