DHAKA, July 27, 2020 (BSS) – A number of cabinet members today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Israfil Alam MP.
The cabinet members include Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi as well as Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar.
The cabinet members also include State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian, State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad Hassan, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder, State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali, State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Zahid Ahsan Russell, State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira and State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Swapan Bhattacharya.
In separate messages of condolence, they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Lawmaker of Naogaon-6 constituency Alam breathed his last at city’s Square Hospital at 6:40 am today at the age of 55.
