SYLHET, July 22, 2020 (BSS) – Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) has
fixed 30 spots for slaughtering sacrificial animals during
Eid-ul-Azha.
Mayor of SCC Ariful Haque Chowdhury said they have designated the
spots for slaughtering sacrificial animals during this year’s
Eid-ul-Azha in 27 divided areas.
He urged the city dwellers for sacrificing animals at the
designated spots as those places under the management of SCC would
have a better environment with necessary facilities including water
system, waste removals, buckets, mugs and mats.
The mayor expected to collect the wastes and clean the slaughtering
premises within 24 hours of ‘Qurbani’.
