MANIKGANJ, July 12, 2020 (BSS) –Shibalaya Police arrested an alleged narcotics peddler from Shahili area of Shibalaya upazila on Saturday evening.
The arrestee was identified as Kalam Mollah (42) son of late Jhoru
Mollah of village Shahili under Shibalaya upazila of the district.
“Acting on a tiff off, a team of police raided the house of Mollah and arrested him with 1.5 Kilogram of ganja”,
Firoj Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibalaya Police Station told BSS today.
Earlier, Shibalaya Police in separate drive arrested another Selim (30) with ganja from his house
of village Rupsha Nali under Shibalaya Upazila.
O C Firoj Kabir said the drive will continue against drug peddlers .
