DHAKA, July 7, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister and Awami League (AL)
President Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at
the death of former Nalitabari upazila unit president of AL in Sherpur
district Abdul Halim Ukil.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abdul Halim, also former mayor of the Nalitabari municipality,
breathed his last on Sunday night while undergoing treatment at a city
hospital at the age of 67.
