NARAYANGANJ, 31 MAY, 2020, (BSS) – SM Salahuddin Mandal, renowned former national footballer died from cardiac arrest at his Gognagar residence early Sunday.
He left behind his wife, two sons and a friends, relatives and well wishers to mourn his sad demise.
According to family sources, his namaz-e-janaza was held at the Tajek Pradhan Jam-e Mosque after the Zuhr prayer. Later, he was buried at Syedpur graveyard.
He played for prominent football clubs like Dhaka Mohammedan, Dhaka Wanderers and Farashganj Football Club.
He was the former president of District Football Association and president of Sonali Atit Club and Narayanganj Thana Juba League.
