DHAKA, May 31, 2020 (BSS) – As part of government’s continuous effort to minimize peoples hardship amid the corona virus pandemic, more than six crore people has ready received the government relief assistance.
“ The government so far has provided relief assistance to 6,15,49,000 people of more 1.37 crore families across the country,” said an official release here today.
Till May 30, a total of 1,92,000 tonnes of rice have been distributed among these people, said the district administration sources, adding that the number of benefitted families are1,37,66,000 and the benefited people are 6,15,49,000.
Besides, the government has allocated more Taka 110 crore cash during this time.
More than 12.59 lakh people of 5, 91,867families were benefitted with the baby food assistance worth of Taka 18.54 crore out of allocated Taka 23.94crore.
