GAIBANDHA, May 28, 2020 (BSS) – Lawmaker of Gaibandha-1 Barrister Shameem Haidar Patwary provided food items among a total of 2400 poor and jobless people of two unions of Sundarganj Upazilla in the district as gift for last few days.
To mitigate sufferings caused by coronavirus outbreak, the MP took personal initiative to distribute food materials to destitute people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The beneficiaries received packages containing various food materials like rice, sugar and vermicelli (semai) as they expressed their gratefulness to lawmaker for standing beside them with food materials on eid.
Talking to BSS, the lawmaker said 1200 packages of food materials were distributed in Dahaband union and same amount of packages were provided in Chandipur union of the upazilla for last few days.
