DHAKA, May 6, 2020 (BSS) – A number of cabinet members today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Awami League (AL) lawmaker and valiant freedom fighter Habibur Rahman Mollah.
In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
The cabinet members include Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin, Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad Hassan, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak and State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury.
Habibur Rahman Mollah, who was elected MP thrice from Dhaka-5 constituency, passed away due to old-age complications at a city hospital this morning.
