People celebrated Eid in festive mood: Narayan
KHULNA, June 19, 2018 (BSS) – Fisheris and Live Stock Minister Narayan
Chandra Chanda, MP, said people celebrated the holy Eid-ul-Fitr in festive
mood across the country as per capita income has enhanced and price of
essential commodities has come under people’s purchasing capacity.
He was speaking while exchanges views with people of Sharafpur,
Baniakhali and Nowakathi Bazar under Dumuria upazila in Khulna yesterday.
Bangladesh is marching towards development and prosperity under the
leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said.
The minister further said any religious festival can help to create
communal harmony among all. The government has completed a huge development
works including roads, schools, colleges, mosques, temples and electricity
after AL come to power again.
Bangladesh will turn into a middle income country by 2021, he said,
adding that everybody should be united to achieve the goal.
