DHAKA, April 9, 2020 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authorities today
announced suspension of all classes and examinations for indefinite period in
the wake of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
Earlier, the university authorities suspended classes and exams from March
18 to March 31, which was later extended till April 14.
Further notice will be served at least three days before resumption of the
classes and examinations, said a DU press release today.
In line with general holidays issued by the government, the release said,
the offices will also remain closed till April 14 while emergency services
will not remain out of the purview of suspension.
This is the third decision of suspension of DU academic activities.
