CPC greets AL on Mujib Year
DHAKA, March 11, 2020 (BSS) – Communist Party of China (CPC) today extended greetings to Bangladesh Awami League on the occasion of Mujib Year, the yearlong birth centenary celebration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
In a greeting message, the CPC has welcomed all programmes of Bangabandhu’s birth centenary celebration, AL Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan told BSS tonight.
The ruling party of China also lauded the unprecedented development of Bangladesh under the AL government led by Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
CPC said Bangabandhu made the historic introduction of relations between Bangladesh and China.
After that, China has been working closely with Bangladesh for its development as a strategic and supportive partner, the message reads.
In continuation of the relations, the bridge created between Communist Party of China and Bangladesh Awami League through mutual friendship and respect will be cemented in the coming days, it said.
CPC expressed its hope that the Bangladesh-China ties will be strengthened further while AL and CPC will always stand for each other.
