DHAKA, Jan 24, 2020 (BSS) – The ‘Mujib Barsho’ Trust Bank 17th National Senior/Junior Taekwondo competition began on Friday at National Sports Council Gymnasium in the city.
Mohammad Shamsul Haque, Quarter Master Lieutenant General of Bangladesh
Army, inaugurated the three-day meet as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) president Morshed Hossain Kamal
presided over the opening ceremony.
BTF general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana and other federation officials
were present at the opening ceremony.
A total of 600 players from thirty district sports associations, Bangladesh
Army, Border Guard Bangladesh and Jute Mills Corporation are taking part in
the different categories of the meet, organised by BTF.
