RANGPUR, Jan 23, 2020 (BSS) – Central committee leaders of Bangladesh Awami Swechchasebak League (ASSL) distributed blankets among 455 cold-hit people in a function held at Paglapeer High School ground in Sadar upazila here last night.
Sadar upazila unit of ASSL accorded a reception to the newly elected
central committee leaders at the function.
Later, the newly elected leaders distributed blankets among the cold-
stricken people.
President of Bangladesh Awami Swechchasebak League Nirmal Ranjan Guha
attended the function as the chief guest with President of its Rangpur Sadar
upazila unit Hridoy Kumar Roy in the chair.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Swechchasebak League AKM Afzalur
Rahman Babu addressed the occasion as the main discussant.
Organising Secretary of the central committee of ASSL AKM Azim, its Youth
and Sports Affairs’ Secretary Ename Khoda Julu, former Social Welfare
Affairs’ Secretary of ASSL Nafiul Karim Rafa and former member Harunur Rashid
addressed as special guests.
President of Rangpur district ASSL Sirajul Islam Pramanik, its General
Secretary Dhanojeet Ghosh Taposh and Joint General Secretary Saiful Islam
Sweet, President of Sadar upazila Awami League Md Humayun Kabir, its General
Secretary AM Halimul Haque, also spoke.
The newly elected president, general secretary and other leaders of the
central committee were greeted with wreaths by leaders of the district Sadar
upazila units of ASSL.
