DHAKA, Jan 10, 2020 (BSS)- Leaders of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will distribute warm clothes among the cold-affected people across the country tomorrow.
A total of three committees have been formed to distribute warm clothes at different upazilas in the country, said a press release here today.
A team to be led by AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will distribute clothes at Syedpur town of Nilphamari district at around 11 am tomorrow.
Other members of the team are AL presidium member Ramesh Chandra Sen, joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, organizing secretary B M Mozammel Hoque, relief and social welfare affairs secretary Sujit Rai Nandi, health and population affairs secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana and central working committee members Shahabuddin Forazi, Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia, Anisur Rahman and Safura Begum Rumi and deputy office secretary Sayem Khan.
Another team to be led by AL presidium member Matia Chowdhury will distribute warm clothes among the cold-hit unprivileged people at Jhenaidah District and Harinakunda upazila at 12 noon tomorrow.
Other member of the team are organizing secretary Afzal Hossain, agriculture and cooperative secretary Faridun Nahar Laily, education and human resources affairs secretary Shamsunnahar Chapa and central working committee members M Amirul Alam Milon, ABM Riazul Kabir Kawser, Professor Merina Zahan, Parvin Zaman and Marufa Akhter.
The third team to be led by joint general secretary and information minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will distribute clothes among the poor people at Bangabandhu Manch at Bandarban district at 4 pm tomorrow.
The other members of the team are minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, AL deputy publicity Secretary Aminul Islam, finance and planning affairs secretary Wasika Aisha Khanam and central working committee member Dipanker Talukder.
