Jatiya Party celebrates its founding anniversary in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Jan 1, 2020 (BSS) – The district and city units of Jatiya Party
(JaPa) here today observed the 33rd founding anniversary of the party founded
by its founding Chairman and former President Alhaj Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
The district and city units of JaPa jointly chalked out programmes like
placing wreaths at the grave of Ershad at his ‘Polli Nibas’ residence
compound in the city, offering Fateha and special munajat there seeking
divine blessings for his departed soul.
The programmes also include cake-cutting function, doa mahfil and
discussion at the district JaPa office on the Central Road in the city with
the participation of tens of hundreds of leaders and workers of the party
this afternoon.
Special munajats were also offered seeking divine blessings for eternal
peace of departed souls of late Alhaj Hussain Muhammad Ershad and late JaPa
leaders Mofazzal Hossain Master, Syed Nur Ahmed Tulu, Mosleh Haque Nado and
Adhir Kumar before the discussion.
Presidium Member of JaPa, its Rangpur city unit President and Mayor of
Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa presided over the discussion.
Former JaPa lawmaker Shahana Begum, Joint General Secretary of district
JaPa Alhaj Abdur Razzaque, Joint General Secretaries of city JaPa Lokman
Hossain and Hasanuzzaman Nazim, its Organising Secretary Zahedul Islam and
local JaPa leaders Nahid Yasmin, Ferdousi Begum Mala and Jasmine Begum
addressed.
Presidents and General Secretaries and other leaders of the district and
city units of other associate bodies of JaPa also spoke on the occasion,
among others.
