Alim Madrasha, Baptist Mission in final of School football
DHAKA, June 5, 2018 (BSS)- G Foolbari DS Alim Madrasha of Barisal and Baptist Mission Balok High School of Satkhira moved final of the Pran Milk National Scholl Football Championship beating their respective rivals in the semi-finals held on Tuesday at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s first semi-final, G Foolbari DS Alim Madrasha of Barisal beat Lalpur SS Pilot High School of Natore by 3-1 goals.
Al Amin, Habibullah Bashar and Ripon Hossain scored one goal each for the winners in the 7th, 30th and 33rd minutes respectively. Rajon Ali scored the lone goal for the lossers in the 31st minute.
In the day’s second semi-final, Baptist Mission Balok High School of Satkhira defeated Somir Uddin School and College of Nilphamari by 4-3 goals in penalty shoot-out.
Rabbi, Mursalin, Surajul Islam and Arafat Siyam converted the penalty for Baptist while Deepak, Siraj and Uttam scored for Somir Uddin.
