DHAKA, Nov 17, 2019 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan
(BKSP) dominated the Teer 3rd National Youth Archery Championship that
concluded today (Sunday) at archery training center of Ahsan Ullah Master
Stadium in the city’s Tongi.
On the last day of the two-day meet, BKSP maintained their supremacy as
they bagged eight gold, six silver and equal number of bronze medal while
Teerondaz Sangsad bagged two gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
Dhaka Army Archery Club and Bangladesh Ansar placed at third and fourth
position respectively with one gold medal while BAF Tigers Cubs collected two
silver medals and one bronze medal.
Besides, Quantum Foundation secured one silver and one bronze medal.
City Group executive director (marketing and sales) Jafar Uddin Siddique
was the chief guest in the prize distribution ceremony and handed over the
prizes.
Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) president Lieutenant General (retd.)
Mohammad Mainul Islam, officials of City Group and BAF were also present on
the occasion.
A total of ten teams including districts, services and BKSP took part in
the two-day meet.
