DHAKA, Oct 21, 2019 (BSS) – The honours first year admission test result of
“Ka” unit under Science Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) for the 2019-20
academic sessions was postponed yesterday.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting held at the dean’s office of
science faculty on Sunday evening, said a press release issued by science
faculty dean Prof Dr Tofail Ahmed Chowdhury.
“Due to some technical problems, several errors were noticed in assessment
of the MCQ part of “Ka” unit test. We regretted for the unwanted mistakes.
Under these circumstances, the result was suspended after discussing with the
Vice-Chancellor,” said the press release.
It also said that the result will be published within shortest possible
time.
A total of 85,879 admission seekers took part in the admission test held on
September 20 against 1,795 seats.
