KHULNA, Oct 21, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 9,455 patients of the division have returned home after recovery, according to an official release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Khulna.
Some 10,133 patients were admitted to the different hospitals in Khulna division since January this year, the release added. As many as 161 dengue patients are now undergoing treatment at different hospitals and clinics of the division, it added.
According to the DGHS, thirty one people died of the mosquito-borne
tropical disease so far in the division.
A total of 15,272 dengue test kits has been kept reserved in the division, it added.
Around 45 new dengue patients took admission at different hospitals in the last 24 hours across the division while 517 dengue patients have been referred to different hospitals in Dhaka city.
