Misuse is more terrible than corruption: Mannan
DHAKA, Oct 19, 2019 (BSS) – Planning Minister MA Mannan today underscored
the need for implementing various development projects through ensuring
transparency and accountability after checking misuse.
“Misuse is more terrible than corruption,” he said while addressing a
view-exchange meeting as the chief guest on the development activities of
Sylhet City Corporation held at its auditorium in Sylhet today, said a
handout.
The Planning Minister said everyone related to procurement would have to
be very much accurate and maintain austerity adding that everyone would also
remain alert so that incident like “pillow” could not reoccur in future.
Earlier, Mannan visited various development activities of Sylhet City
Corporation and inaugurated the Sylhet central truck terminal.
