BCL-KHOKON-REMEMBERED
BCL leader Khokan remembered
DHAKA, Oct 2, 2019 (BSS) – Former and incumbent leaders of Bangladesh
Chhatra League (BCL), students wing of Awami League, today recalled the
contributions of Abdul Wadud Khokan, a former BCL vice-president and general
secretary of Dhaka University (DU) unit of BCL, marking the 8th death
anniversary of Khokon.
They also remembered contribution of Kokhan, also a former central vice
president of BCL, in different movements at a commemorative discussion on the
life Khokon at DU’s Modhur Canteen.
A milad mahfil was also held at DU central Mosque after Maghrib prayers.
BCL leaders called upon their fellows to follow the ideology of Khokon to
run the traditional organisation in a fresh way.
BCL acting President Al-Nahean Khan Joy, BCL acting General Secretary
Lekhak Bhattacharjee, Former BCL DU unit president Abid Al Hasan and former
BCL DU unit general secretary Motahar Hossain Prince, among others, addressed
the discussion.
