DHAKA, Oct 2, 2019 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid this afternoon returned to Dhaka after attending two-day programmes of the Bangladesh Navy at Khalispur of Khulna.
Chief of Navy Staff Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury, president of Bangladesh Naval Family Welfare Association (BNFWA) Dr Afroza Aurangzeb and senior officers concerned saw him off at BNS Titumir Base Helipad at about 3.22 pm.
President Hamid, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, addressed the function of the Awarding of National Standard to BNS Base Titumir this noon.
President’s spouse Rashida Khanam and secretaries concerned to the Bangabhaban accompanied him during the trip.
Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for Khulna on October 1.
