JAMALPUR, Sept 22, 2019 (BSS) – Two children drowned in a ditch in Islampur upazila in the district this morning.
The victims were identified as Suraia, 5, daughter of Saidur Rahman at village Kandarchar in Islampur Upazila and Akhi Akhtar, 5, daughter of Al Amin at village Paglapra in Bakshiganj Upazila of the district.
Police said Suraia and her cousin Akhi Aktar drowned while they were playing beside a ditch.
