DHAKA, Sept 19, 2019 (BSS) – Major General Shakil Ahmed was appointed as new Director General (DG) of the Department of Immigration and Passports (DIP).
The Public Administration Ministry issued an order in this regard this evening.
Shakil Ahmed will replace Major General Md Shohail Hossain Khan. Shohail has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board.
Bangladesh Tea Board Chairman Major General Jahangir Al Mustahidur Rahman has been brought back to the army.
