Skilled administration stressed for building developed Bangladesh

RANGPUR, Sept 18, 2019 (BSS) – Government officials should enhance their skills along with acquiring more innovative knowledge to attain the sustainable development goals (SDGs) for building a developed Bangladesh by 2041.

The views were expressed at a day-long seminar titled ‘Advancement of Bangladesh toward Prosperity’ held at conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday afternoon in the city.

Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) and district administration organised the seminar for officials of all government departments of Rangpur division for Capacity Enhancement of the Core Courses of BPATC Project.

Divisional Commissioner KM Tariqul Islam attended the seminar as the chief guest with Member Directing Staff (Project) of BPATC Syed Mizanur Rahman in the chair.

Deputy Inspector General for Rangpur Range Police Devdas Bhattacharya and Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur Md. Asib Ahsan addressed the event as special guests.

Member Directing Staff (D & E) of BPATC Dr. Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan delivered powerpoint presentation highlighting the goals and objective of arranging the seminar.

The chief guest said all government officials in the administrations and other departments and organisations should be more skilled and innovative to implement the pledges of the present government on way to build a developed Bangladesh.

He urged the participating officials to work sincerely in achieving the SDGs within the stipulated time by 2030 through properly utilising their skills and innovative knowledge for building a prosperous and developed country by 2041.
