DHAKA, Sept 9, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at a function here today unveiled the cover of a book ”Satyer Spordhito Uccharan”, a compilation of speeches delivered by Mayeen Uddin Khan Badal, MP, in parliament.
The speaker unveiled the cover of the book at its publication ceremony at the Parliament Members’ Club in the JS complex in the city, said a press release.
Addressing the function, Shirin Sharmin said the speeches of Badal delivered in parliament to implement commitments to the people are filled with empathy, love and emotions.
The book will play a vital role in strengthening and flourishing parliamentary democracy, she said, adding that the book of compiled speeches of Badal will remain as a reference book for the future generations.
Presided over by the Publisher of the book Selina Khan Badal, the function was addressed by Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir, MP, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Housing and Public Works Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurance Professor Md Ali Ashraf, Engineer Siddique Ahmed, AW Chowdhury and Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Rubana Huq, among others.
