DHAKA, Sept 8, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by
temporary gusty wind at many places over the country as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal Chattogram,
Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh and
Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over
the country,” said a BMD press release.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country, the release added.
The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius
yesterday at Sylhet in Sylhet division and minimum temperature was 25.1
degrees Celsius today at Sandwip in Chattogram division.
The sun sets at 6.10 pm today and rises at 5.43 am tomorrow in the
capital.
