Razzaque visits flood-hit areas in Jamalpur tomorrow
DHAKA, July 25, 2019 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque will visit the flood-hit areas in Jamalpur tomorrow.
During his visit, he will meet flood victims and distribute relief materials among them, said a press release of the ministry.
Around 59 upazilas and seven municipalities of Jamalpur district were flooded this year due to continuous downpour and onrush of water coming from the upstream.
Ruling Awami League has formed six teams to distribute relief goods in the flood-affected districts.
As part of the party’s relief distribution programme, Razzaque is going to visit the flood-hit areas in Jamalpur tomorrow.
