Industries Ministry’s ADP implementation rate 99.30pc

DHAKA, July 21, 2019 (BSS) – The implementation rate of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) under the Industries Ministry was 99.30 percent in the last fiscal year (FY19) which was 75.42 percent in the previous fiscal (FY18).

The information was revealed at a meeting to review the progress of implementation of the projects under the Revised Annual Development Programme (RADP) at Industries Ministry in the city, according to a press release.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the meeting as the chief guest while Industries Secretary M Abdul Halim was in the chair.

The meeting was informed that a total of 53 development projects with a cost of Taka 1087.36 crore are being implemented under the RADP of the Industries Ministry. Out of the projects, 48 are investment projects, four are technical projects and another one is being implementing with own fund.

In his speech, Humayun said the Industries Ministry will remunerate officials for their relentless efforts for implementing the projects in time.

He asked the officials to accelerate the project implementation process.

Among others, senior officials of the ministry were present on the occasion.
