DHAKA, July 16, 2019 (BSS) – Different organizations of Posts and Telecommunications Division (PTD) today signed separate deals with Bangladesh Television (BTV), Public Service Commission (PSC) and Sonali Bank Ltd for sharing services.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Prime Minister’s Information and Communication Technology Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy witnessed the signings at the conference room of PTD, said a ministry release.
PTD’s three organizations -Bangladesh Post Office (BPO), Teletalk and Bangladesh Communications Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL) signed the deals.
PTD Secretary Ashoke Kumar Biswas, PSC Chairman Dr Mohammad Sadik and BTV Director General Mohammad Harun-Or-Rashid were also present.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy also exchanged views with the officials of PTD and its different organizations.
As per the agreement, Sonali Bank and BPO would introduce digital banking system in the remote areas while Teletalk would offer service to PSC for online application, admit card distribution and result publication.
Besides, BTV will use the services of Bangabandhu-I Satellite commercially.
