DHAKA, June 13, 2019 (BSS) – The government has allocated Taka 25,616
crore for the Ministry of Home in the proposed budget for the fiscal (FY)
2018-2019.
Taka 21,922 crore has been allocated for Public Security Division and
Taka 3,694 crore for Security Services Division of the Home Ministry in the
proposed budget for the FY 2019-20.
The proposed allocation for the ministry of home is Taka 508 crore lower
compared to the revised budget for the FY 2018-2019.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a history with unfolding the budget in
the parliament on behalf of Finance Minister AHM Mustofa Kamal following his
sickness at one stage of unveiling the budget of 2019-20 FY.
