RAJSHAHI, May 19, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh Krira Shiksha Protisthan (BKSP) is going to be set up in Rajshahi in response to the long-cherished demand of its people.
BKSP Director General Brig Gen Rashidul Hassan revealed this while making
a courtesy call on Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) AHM Khairuzzaman
Liton at latter’s city bhaban office here today.
In the meeting, Brig Gen Hassan sought cooperation from the city mayor
related to the establishment of BKSP here as early as possible.
In response, Mayor Liton assured him of all possible cooperation.
On the issue, he said the work of establishing BKSP had remained suspended
due to land acquisition problems. But the problem has now been solved and the
local district administration will start the land acquisition work soon.
On successful implementation of the venture, many sportsmen will be
generated here that will take forward Rajshahi’s sports’ arena, Mayor Liton
added.
