DHAKA, May 2, 2019 (BSS) – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines A M Masaddique Ahmed has been relieved from the post.
“Biman’s board of directors took the decision due to his (Ahmed) unskilled performance with lack of transparency,” Civil Aviation and Tourism secretary Mohibul Haque told BSS today.
Director (Flight Operations) Captain Farhad Hossain has been appointed as the acting MD and CEO of the national flag carrier, he added.
The decision was taken at the board meeting of Biman on Tuesday night.
