Deliver sermons against militancy, terrorism before Jumma prayers, PM urges Imams

DHAKA, April 25, 2019 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the Imams of the country’s all mosques to deliver sermons against militancy and terrorism before the Jumma prayers on Friday (tomorrow).

Bangladesh Islamic Foundation disseminated the call of the premier by issuing a press release today.

A doa and munajat mahfil will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital after the Jumma prayers on Friday seeking the eternal peace of Awami League Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim’s grandson Zayan Chowdhury and others who were killed in bomb blasts in Sri Lanka.

Besides, doa will be offered at the mahfil for early recovery of Sheikh Selim’s son-in-law Moshiul Haque Chowdhary who was seriously injured in the terror attack. People from all strata have been asked to join the mahfil.

Bangladesh Islamic Foundation urged the authorities concerned of the country’s all mosques to offer doa and munajat seeking the eternal peace of Zayan and others who were killed in the Sri Lanka bomb blasts.
