Nowfel stresses more on deeds than words

CHATTOGRAM, April 20. 2019 (BSS)-Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury Nowfel today underpinned the need for focusing more on deeds than words to resolve problems besetting the education sector.

He said the education sector has achieved tremendous development under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, braving many limitations and problems.

Nowfel was addressing a roundtable discussion, arranged by the Bangla daily- Dainik Azadi, at its auditorium.

Praising the Dainik Azadi for arranging the discussion, the deputy minister said the greater Chattogram is lagging behind in education sector and the government is trying to change the scenario.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has attached the highest priority to the education sector, and urged teachers, guardians, school managing committee members to work in unison for yielding fruitful results in their respective institutions.

“The main aim of education is to create skilled human resources and we are trying our level best to achieve the goal,” he said.

Editor of Dainik Azadi M A Malek, Chairman of Chattogram Education Board Professor Shaheda Islam, Director of Secondary Higher Education Directorate, Chattogram region Professor Prodip Chakraborty, Chief Education Officer of Chattogram City Corporation Sumon Barua, Deputy Director of Secondary Higher Education Directorate Aziz Uddin, among others, took part in the discussion.
