DHAKA, March 24, 2019 (BSS) – The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) today organized a training program at its auditorium in the city to strengthen fire prevention and control measures in the industries and household units.
About 30 participants from Bangladesh Chemical and Perfumery Merchant Association, Bangladesh Paints, Dyes and Chemical Merchants’ Association and Bangladesh Plastic Packaging Roll Manufacturers Owners Association took theoretical and practical training at the program.
The training program was supported by Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate.
FBCCI Acting Secretary General Hussain Jamil inaugurated the training program in the morning.
The sessions of the program were conducted by Deputy Director of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate Dilip Kumar Ghosh and Deputy Assistant Directors of the Directorate Khandakar Abdul Jalil and Anwarul Haque.
The resource persons at the programme underscored the need for investing a particular amount of money for ensuring fire safety in industries.
