DHAKA, Feb 21, 2019 (BSS) -Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed profound shock at the loss of lives of many people in a fire in Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka.
The prime minister asked all concerned authorities for proper treatment of the injured persons and give necessary support to the families of the deceased, PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.
The prime minister conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence the death toll from the fire caught last night in a chemical warehouse jumped to 70 till this morning.
