CHATTOGRAM, Feb 16, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) observed the
50th death anniversary of Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque with due solemnity
here on Friday.
On the occasion, a milad mahfil was arranged at the central mosque of
Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque, Chattogram after Jumma prayer
seeking the divine blessing for the departed soul of the deceased and for the
continued peace and prosperity of the country, said an ISPR press release.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Abdul Bashar,
BBP, OSP, ndc, acsc, psc, Air officer commanding of BAF Base Zahurul Haque
Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Mafidur Rahman, BSP, BUP, ndu, afwc, psc, senior
officers, airmen and other members of the base attended the milad mahfil.
Zahurul Haque was killed by the Pakistan Army on this day in 1969 when he
was detained in the Dhaka Cantonment in connection with the Agartala case.
