Hasan for turning info ministry one of best ministries
DHAKA, Feb 4, 2019 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today sought cooperation from all to turn the ministry into one of the best ministries by making a bridge between the government and the people.
“It is the duty of the Information Ministry to engage the people with government activities and reach the information of development initiatives to the masses,” he told a coordination meeting at the ministry conference room at secretariat here.
Information Secretary Abdul Malek conducted the meeting which was attended by officials of the ministry and all departments under it.
Mahmud said works are underway to formulate some laws and policies for mass media. He sought cooperation from all in doing the task.
