Hong Kong stocks rally into break on trade hopes
HONG KONG, Jan 18, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks rose almost one
percent in the morning session Friday, in line with a global advance after a
report said the US was considering lifting tariffs on China in a bid to reach
a trade deal.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.96 percent, or 257.57 points, to 27,013.20 by
the break.
