DHAKA, Jan 15, 2019 (BSS) – The annual sports competition of Fazlul Huq
Muslim Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held today at the central playground
on the campus.
Faisal Ahmed, student of the Department of Physics and Fahim Ahmed, student
of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment became champion and runners-
up respectively in the competition.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the competition in
the morning as chief guest. After the competition Pro-Vice Chancellor
(Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad distributed prizes among the winners.
Provost of Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Advisor and
Director of Physical Education Centre Prof Dr M Ziaul Hoque Mamun, President
of DU Athletics Committee Prof Dr Md Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan, house tutors,
students of the hall and officials were present on the occasion.
