DHAKA, Jan 17, 2019 (BSS) – Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over
the regions of Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Sitakunda, Rajshahi, Pabna, Badalgachi,
Dinajpur, Tentulia, Dimla, Rajarhat, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal
and Moulvibazar and it may continue for few days.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight
to tomorrow morning while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy
sky over the country in the next 24-hours as of 9 am tomorrow, Bangladesh
Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin said today.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 28.4 degrees Celsius yesterday at
Sylhet in Sylhet division while today’s minimum temperature was 7.0 degrees
Celsius at Jashore in Khulna division.
The sun sets at 5:34 pm today and rises at 6:43 am tomorrow in the capital.
